Director General,

Ghana TVET Service.

Dear Sir and Madam,

Urgent Appeal for Teacher Transfer Policy Review.

I write as a concerned stakeholder in education to bring to your attention the pressing issue of teacher transfers. The current policy’s inflexibility hampers educators’ morale, directly impacting the quality of education.

Teachers who qualify and request transfers for personal or professional reasons should be considered, as this not only benefits their career development but also ensures a motivated teaching force.

Failing to address this issue of transfer leads to a direct decline in classroom performance, ultimately affecting the students.

I wish you to reconsider the transfer policies, recognizing that a content and motivated teaching staff is vital for the holistic development of our students.

Your prompt attention to this matter is crucial for the continued success of our educational system.

Sincerely,

Hon. Emmanuel K. Asante
