On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, a dreadful incident took place at Nkenkaasu on the Kumasi-Techiman highway in the Ashanti Region, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives.
The accident involved a VIP bus and a trailer truck carrying cereal.
Eyewitness accounts revealed that the VIP bus, heading towards Techiman, unexpectedly swerved from its lane, leading to a catastrophic collision with the loaded trailer truck.
Apart from the fatalities, numerous other individuals suffered injuries in the accident.
At present, the injured victims are receiving medical treatment at the Nkenkaasu Government Hospital.
