The right association and governing body, like the ACCA or ICA Ghana, should also certify and accredit the candidates.
Reporting
The Finance Manager of the Group will be in charge of this job.
The main duties of this job are to run the accounting department for NEZO Group and to manage the accounting department.
The other part is keeping track of and following up on projects on a regular basis. This is a high-volume role with hands-on experience from beginning to end. It requires persistence and the ability to get things done on time.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day work of the accounting function on the NEZO Group finance team. Look into financial reports and market trends and judge them.
- Ability to analyze financial data to create strategic financial information and help prepare annual budgets, controls, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for NEZO Group. Ability to enforce and implement necessary accounting process controls to ensure quality and compliance, including updates to financial policies and procedures.
- Make sure that the foundation meets the legal reporting requirements in Ghana.
- Help manage the finance and accounting systems of NEZO Group, which could mean leading the installation of new accounting software.
- Help the Finance Manager with regular internal audits, such as audits of projects.
- Help accounting work by being in charge of the accounting team.
- Make monthly cost centers, project forecasts, and financial estimates, and then look at them.
- As needed, make your supervisor financial analyses and project reports.
- Help manage the whole financial process by helping with accounting and reporting on a regular basis. Keeping track of costs and the general ledger.
- Help make annual budgets for finances and run analyses for accounts payable and receivable.
- Setting up and keeping track of a list of assets, as well as good accounting policies, systems, and standards, are all important parts of a good financial controls environment.
- Help make financial and management reports once a month, three times a year, and once a year. Take part in audits of money.
- Talk with government bodies about tax issues and make sure they are followed.
- For financial reasons, you should keep up with changes in technology and accounting software.
- Know the rules and laws about money and stick to them.
- Do any other tasks that the line manager gives you.
Minimum qualifications, work experience, skills, and professionalism
- Master’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a similar field.
- Certified Public Accountant (ACCA, ICA Ghana).
- At least five years of experience in a similar job.
- It would be best if you had experience with accounting, finance, and project control in the past.
- Structured, able to work on tasks or projects on their own, and able to take responsibility for them from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and the ERP system. International experience will be a plus.
- Proven ability to meet goals (KPIs), make plans and use resources well.
- As a tax professional, I follow all the rules. filing tax returns for a business. Experience giving advice about money.
- Integrity and good morals. able to work different hours on different days.
- The driver is qualified and has a DVLA license.
