Just In – President Akufo-Addo Appoints New Ministers for Sanitation Ministry and others

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made several key appointments in his government. Freda Prempeh, the Minister of State at the Presidency and Member of Parliament for Tano North, has been selected as the new Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, succeeding Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah.

The President accepted Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah’s resignation, which was dated Saturday, 22nd July 2023.

Additionally, President Akufo-Addo, after consulting with the Ministers for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and Roads and Highways, has appointed Mavis Nkansah Boadu, the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways and Member of Parliament for Afigya Sekyere East, as the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

Likewise, Thomas Mbomba, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and Member of Parliament for Tatale/Sanguli, has been appointed as the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways.

The official announcement was made through a statement issued by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Presidency, on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
