President Akufo-Addo has implemented a reshuffle affecting two regional ministers, with immediate effect. The announcement, dated April 4, 2024, was made by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Office of the President. The reshuffle impacts the Upper East and Upper West regions.
Stephen Yakubu, the current Upper East Regional Minister, will transition to serve as the Upper West Regional Minister, while Hafiz Bin Salih, the incumbent Upper West Regional Minister, will assume the position of Upper East Regional Minister.
In a statement, Mr. Arhin emphasized that these changes are part of President Akufo-Addo’s continuous efforts to ensure effective governance nationwide. He further urged the ministers to diligently work towards promoting the welfare and development of their respective regions, Upper West and Upper East.
