Job Description:
The Warehouse Officer will be responsible for receiving and processing warehouse stock products, including picking, unloading, labeling, and storing products. The Officer will also perform inventory controls to maintain high quality standards for audits and ensure that the working environment is clean and safe. In addition, the Officer will optimize space utilization and complete diary logs into the inventory system while reporting any discrepancies to supervisors. Good communication and cooperation with coworkers and supervisors are also key aspects of the role, as is the operation and preventive maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment. The Officer must follow quality service standards and comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications Required:
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or higher
- Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems
- Minimum of two years of experience as a procurement officer or in a related position
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
