GOIL Apologizes for Fuel Shortage Due to Supply Disruptions

GOIL, a Ghanaian oil marketing company, has apologized for the fuel shortage experienced at some of its stations across the country.

According to GOIL, the fuel shortage was due to operational challenges caused by supply disruptions.

In a statement, the company disclosed that over two million litres of fuel have been dispatched to stations that experienced shortages, with an additional one million litres scheduled for delivery today.

To augment supplies, GOIL also announced plans to release more stocks to the affected stations in the next two days.

In the statement, GOIL acknowledged the fuel shortages, particularly for its super XP RON 95, during the Easter holidays.

The company attributed the shortage to operational challenges caused by supply disruptions.

However, GOIL disclosed that it has taken delivery of sufficient products and has dispatched over two million litres of fuel to its stations experiencing shortages.

The company also promised to dispatch an additional two million litres in the next two days to address the fuel scarcity. GOIL apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured its valued customers of its commitment to providing uninterrupted fuel supply across the country.
