The Code of Conduct for students in pre-tertiary schools in Ghana has undergone a comprehensive review by the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The revised code has been disseminated to all Directors of Education in metropolitan, municipal, and district levels, along with managers of education units and school heads, with instructions for immediate implementation.

A circular addressed to all regional directors, dated January 4, 2024, and signed by Deputy Director General (MS) Stephen Kwaku Owusu, expresses the management’s expectation that strict adherence to the updated code of conduct will significantly contribute to the primary objectives of schools. These objectives include providing inclusive, quality, and relevant education to all Ghanaian children.
