Originally slated for September 18, 2023, the reopening date for Form One students has been rescheduled to September 25, 2023. This change has been promptly communicated to all Regional Directors of Education, who have been urged to swiftly disseminate this information to the Heads of Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools.

It is imperative for parents, guardians, and students to take note of this revised date and make the necessary preparations accordingly.

The Ghana Education Service envisions that this rescheduling will foster a more conducive learning environment for Form One students, thus laying the foundation for a successful academic year.

In light of this modification, SHS 2 students, alongside SHS 3 students, are currently attending school and actively participating in their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). SHS 2 classes resumed on August 14, 2023, following a break that commenced on June 2, 2023. The academic year for these students is set to conclude on November 30, 2023, marking the culmination of their educational pursuits for the year.

Please stay tuned for further updates as the educational landscape continues to evolve.
