Engr. Abdul Hamid is a man of great ambition and purpose, having undergone rigorous academic training at Armed Forces Senior High Technical School for his high school education, and the prestigious University of Education, Winneba, Kumasi Campus for his tertiary education.He is a certified Professional Building Construction Technology Engineer from the Institution of Engineering and Technology Ghana [IET – Gh.]
He has learned to appreciate the value of challenge and consistently seeks to take on bigger and greater responsibilities, constantly pushing the boundaries of what he can achieve.
A strong believer in the power of the youth, Engr. Abdul Hamid is passionate about empowering young people to take a seat at the decision-making table.
He aspires to inspire and is determined to equip the youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to take charge of their future and contribute positively to the development of their communities.
Engr. Abdul Hamid’s primary motivation is to resource the people through entrepreneurship training, employable skills, and creative, effective business networking. His keen interest in youth development has led him to pursue the position of Member of Parliament under the NDC in 2024 for the Bosomtwe Constituency.
He envisions a community where young people have access to the resources and opportunities needed to thrive and make a meaningful impact.
Under his leadership, Engr. Abdul Hamid has coordinated several successful programs, including entrepreneurship skills and training, massive cleanup exercises, and unity walks and fun games.
These programs, done in collaboration with the Bosomtwe NDC Constituency Executives, have proven to be highly effective in creating a sense of community and fostering youth development.
