The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the examination schedules for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to a letter dated February 5, 2024, the examination periods are as follows:
- BECE (SC): July 8 – 12, 2024
- WASSCE (SC): July 1 – August 31, 2024
The GES has directed the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to furnish detailed registration information for both examinations. This information will be conveyed to school heads in the upcoming weeks.
Regional Directors of Education are tasked with ensuring that Metro/District/Municipal Directors of Education receive this vital information for onward transmission to all heads of Basic and Senior High Schools.
